(i might have the same music taste as your 74 year old grandfather)

all things must pass- george harrison

beautiful song that was orginally rejected by the beatles, but then released on his own 1971 debut album of the same name. this helped me a lot (still does) with grief and managing it.

"Sunset doesn't last all evening
A mind can blow those clouds away
After all this my love is up
And must be leaving
But it's not always going
To be this grey"

april come she will- simon and garfunkle

art garfunkle's voice is absolutely beautiful here. so calming and relaxes any ill emotions i may have had.

hold on- john lennon

one of his best songs in my opinion. John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band is John Lennon's first album after departing from the Beatles and shows a magnificent side of his already amazing musical ability

northern sky- nick drake

Not much to say about it except that Nick Drake is an abosolute gem, and I wish he could've seen the love his music gets today. So many of his songs have my heart melting and wishing I could listen to them for the first time over and over again.

my favorite verse from this song is:

Would you love me for my money?
Would you love me for my head?
Would you love me through the winter?
Would you love me 'til I'm dead?

Oh, if you would and you could
Come blow your horn on high

our house- crosby, stills, nash, and young

my mother would sing this song to me. i miss her voice so much. all i want is a life that is sung in this song. thank you graham nash.

wait- the beatles

my favorite song off of rubber soul! very nice funky sound that holds no real emotional signifigance, just a good listen.

stairway to heaven- led zepplin

Not that big of a fan of led zepplin, but there is something special about zepplin IV that I can't put my finger on. This song is no exception, an absolute work of art that deserves its flowers.

my favorite verse:

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May queen
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on
